A Friday Funny.....
While I joke and kid about this winter...I'm really thrilled with the way this winter has gone truly!
I mean who doesn't like the bitter cold, wind that freezes your eyelashes closed and teeth to your lips, endless shoveling of snow, graceful slipping on ice, 20 layers of clothes on INSIDE the house, the beautiful brown & white landscape, muddy dog paws, salt caked cars, and oh yeah did I mention ALL the SNOW. Yeah, that snow we are STILL getting here at the end of March and beginning of April. The people are GRUMPY Mother Nature...we are not very thrilled. When I say Spring brings May showers I'd rather have the rainy sort about now..not the snowy kind..ya got it Mother Nature.
I'm mad at you...like really ticked off...you are not my BFF anymore. We are soooo DONE!
Enjoy your weekend!
LOL...Kingsford marketing made that perfect. Gotta love it. LOL
ReplyDeleteWe had a foot of snow yesterday and most of it is gone today, but we are in for another round this weekend. Snow is our spring moisture here in Colorado. Hope you are staying warm, dry and healthy.
Hugz,
Cath
Yeah I thought it was funny hehehe...although we are enjoying sunny & 68 deg weather for next week so I can't complain right now. Def beautiful weather!
DeleteCathy I would love to be in Colorado with you! That has been my dream all my life to move to your gorgeous state. We have a cabin in Southern Colorado where I do spend my summers. Hubby is considering retirement and our plan is to build my dream home somewhere in Colorado. Any suggestions?
DeleteI will give you our 96 degree temps this Wednesday. Because from there, it's gonna get hotter. But hey it's a dry heat. :) So today I will enjoy the upper 70s. Not to rub it in. :)
ReplyDeleteNaw we are having mid 60's to 70's from today on out...so I'll keep what we have for now LOL. Its true Spring weather with sun & I'm loving it! Hugs~
DeleteFunny video. I envy you for all your snow. I know you have been inundated with it but consider several years without any moisture whatsoever. We have not had substantial moisture in over four years. We have been reliving the dust bowl days of the 20s and 30s with winds gusting 30 to 60 everyday. My house is covered in layers of dirt. The dirt is everywhere! I open a drawer and there is a layer of dust. I had surgery and was just released this last week to drive. I went back to work pulling my dust covered case with my laptop inside all zipped up nice and tight. I went into my office, dusted off the case (really I washed it off with several very wet towels) lifted out my computer that was covered in dust. When I opened up my laptop it was also covered in dust! Sometimes you should count your blessings. I would much rather be covered in snow than dirt.
ReplyDeleteI can get rid of your snow... all I have to do is come visit. I wish for it so much that I wish it away. Maybe I should spend next winter with you and we will receive the snow instead of you. LOL! It would be a blast!
Huggies!
